Xoom assigns items a unique, environment-independent Xoom identity. These let Xoom determine whether items are logically equivalent, irrespective of any environment-dependent differences they possess (for example: Keys, or Stamp).
Each Xoom identity consists of a specific type and one or more environment-independent Xoom identifiers. Each type defines a set of keys, for example: Owner|Category|Subcategory|Name. The identity of an item of that type is defined by assigning key-values, for example: Setting[[Application]|Logic Domains|_Pre-SOT_Schedule Idle Response|]. An item can have multiple Xoom identities because it can belong to multiple types, but each identity is unique within configuration.
