Let's imagine you deploy changes to an original configuration, but then decide to undo those changes. Redeploying the original (a baseline saved as XoomXML) won't necessarily restore configuration to how it was. This is because Xoom never deletes items, so you may end up with unused items in configuration. These can prove problematic, even when they are unreferenced. The only way to be sure of resetting configuration is to use Xoom Reset Helper.
