Environment

In Service Optimization each managed system is situated in a tightly defined context known as an environment. Examples of environments include 'production', 'development' or 'test', hence the separation of concerns into environments falls logically out of the development process. In addition to the managed system, environments typically include devices and applications that aren't managed by Xoom but which may be referenced by the configuration, such as a GIS Cache.
