Connect to a Xoom Server

To retrieve or deploy configuration, you must first establish a connection with a Xoom server.

The main Xoom Console user interface with annotations.

Type a server name in the Server box (1), typically localhost.
Click Connect/Refresh (2).

The following occurs:

A connection to the specified Xoom server is established.
A session is created on that Xoom server.
The Named Query drop-down list (3) is populated.
The Save (4) and Deploy (5) buttons are enabled.
The connection is logged in the Log Pane (6).
