I get the following error message: Xoom.SXP component not found

In certain circumstances, Xoom returns the error message Xoom.SXP component not found.

This may be caused by ClickSoftware patch 8.1.10 patch 7 (though it is possible there are others, as yet unknown to us) which invalidates the Xoom installation. The solution is to uninstall and reinstall Xoom.
