Xoom service needs to be restarted under the following circumstances.
- If external changes have been made to the Scheme or to SXP Object Reference.
'External changes' means changes performed outside of Xoom.
- If new logic customization has been added to Service Optimization.
- If any of the credentials used by Xoom service to access Service Optimization have been changed: that
is to say, Username, Password, Domain or
ServerUri.
- If either or both of the following two Xoom processes are not running (find them in the
Windows Task Manager Processes tab):
On start-up,
Xoom loads and caches the
Scheme, SXP
Object Reference and the
list of DLLs implementing logic components. If these are changed through
Xoom, then
Xoom
will refresh the cache. If changes are made externally, however,
Xoom has no way of detecting
them. Hence,
Xoom service needs to be restarted.
