Deployment steps
Deployment is the process whereby Xoom applies configuration changes to the managed system. Irrespective of which Xoom client tool you use, deployment consists of the same steps.
Deployment of items
Xoom makes deployment changes at the item level. Xoom does not delete items, so following deployment, unused items remain in configuration.
Stages
When Xoom server is called to deploy configuration by Xoom client tools, it analyses any changes and deploys them in two stages.
Passes
Within each stage, Xoom deploys changes in up to three passes so as to handle circular dependencies.
