Deployment of items

Xoom makes deployment changes at the item level. Xoom does not delete items, so following deployment, unused items remain in configuration.

By way of example, here are two configurations from Xoom servers I and II respectively:

Deploying configuration II to Xoom server I results in the following configuration consisting of items: A*, B, C, D*. Item B does not exist in configuration II, but remains in place on Xoom server I as an unused item. To make configuration on both Xoom servers identical requires that you use Xoom Reset Helper.
