Xoom does not delete items. To delete items from a live system in Service Optimization requires generating the appropriate SXP message and sending it to the Xoom server: Xoom enables you to do both.
You can perform the process in one of two ways. Power users can use Xoom Processor and the CreateRemoveSXPForNonOPItems.xsl transformation. Alternatively, Xoom Reset Helper provides a more user-friendly method.
It is not possible to delete Collections using SXP messages, and consequently it is not possible to delete Collections using CreateRemoveSXPForNonOPItems.xsl or Xoom Reset Helper.
